Default Going.. going.. back.. back.. to n/a..n/a...n/a

Whats good T.R....I've been a member for quite a few years and always driven a turbo honda/acura....I'm going say it flat out (right off the bat) In my opinion theirs nothing better than a turbo honda....But....and theirs always a but. Their reliability sucks ass...I'm tired of constantly having to inspect something, tighten this, replace that etc etc...Its just too much maintenance to be had on a car that gets driven everywhere....It just isnt practical.

So i had an epiphany while contemplating rebuilding my shortblock...Why not just go back to n/a...re install my ac equipment..and actually enjoy driving a practical economical car that could still hold its own when trying to merge into traffic...So with that said im returning my car back to innocense....but first here are some pics from that past couple months...

This was sometime in June when it was LSV-T

The wiring you see lying around is just wideband crap..

Now these are more current

Currently running a Jdm B16A

So i got out of work yesterday and decided to start pulling it out...I laid out all my tools on the counter and got to work!BTW that awesome turbo with 0 miles in the background is for sale!

I basically removed the harness and took off all the intercooler piping...Then time for bed i was tired as f#$k ...

Today i did a whole lot...I removed the engine, separated the tranny, completely degreased the tranny and resprayed to freshen things up a bit..

Heres a pic of my new motor 98 B18C1...Fresh rebuild done by me

Heres the tranny after i degreased the crap outta it!

I removed all the noticeable stuff and got to work

Let it set for a bit then i reinstalled all the little stuff

That was enough work for tonight...Tired as hell and i gotta be up at 6am more to come as i progress...

Wow, I need to get a Bra for my hatch (so clean). And the after pics of the tranny look immaculate, good work. Did you tuck your own bay as well?

Thanks for the compliments!!

I got home from work today and decided to do some hustling because friday is around the corner and I don't want another weekend to go by and not be able to drive my hatch...Although I have other means of transportation I always favor my hatch for some reason...Thats how you know your a true honda enthusiast...So after making numerous trips to Advanced Auto Parts I finally scored the correct alternator belt for my new motor..Apparently I accidentally installed a Crv crank pulley and couldnt find the Oem Gsr anywhere..I coulve used the one from my B16 but it had a chunk missing out of it and I really wasnt in the mood to throw my whole rotating assembly outta wack..So Crv it is...I must say other than that everything went smoothly and i was able to get the motor in with no problems!!

Hopefully I can get this thing started up tomorrow....Then open header action to Rays Performance Machine to get my exhaust modified to accept the Hytech rep!

Thanx bro!! I did tuck the bay a few years back..I plan on re-doing in the near future though...I finally found a place that i could score some top notch wiring materials so I plan on getting a little creative with it...
