Im thinking about sleeving my d16 down the road. i dont want to go to crazy with the build but i was wondering if anyone knew how much the flanged sleeves can take. i went on there website but no luck and i googled it.

 

i have seen darton midsleeved blocks with good qualilty sohc parts and FULLY built head make 600+

prob could make more but would take so much money prob not worth it at that point

 

IDK about the D but the B is rated for like 1100HP or something.

 

d is rated to 750 on bisimoto's site and i think he uses darton sleeves not sure tho but doubt u or most ppl (myself included) have enough money to get to 750whp on a D

 

they werent the MID sleeves. they just just say flanged sleeves but 750 is more then enough for what i trying to do. so i guess these will do they were pretty cheap to i think it was like $68 each.

 

are you gonna have a tranny that'll handle any of this ridiculous sohc hp ?

 

Anyone who builds a D series is an idiot in my opinion. Anyone that would dump enough money in one to make 750whp, should've been aborted.
