I picked this car up from marktopia about 3 months ago and am finally gettin around to the build part. But before we get into that lets talk about the road to here. I found the car on TR and called mark, the car was listed as a 1993 Red cx ls swap with a misfire and flooding problem. He could not figure it out so he wanted it gone. I got it home and had nothin but problems.
It got a new:
-Walbro 255
-fuel filter
-dizzy
-master clutch cylinder
-slave cylinder
-injectors
-ngk spark plugs
-ngk wires
-Oil pan gasket
-valve cover gasket.

After all was done i took my old ecu out to a guy in the dade county area car ran great on the way, but then bam didnt want to kick back over? Sat for a tow truck for 5 hours to got home to find out the timing was way off.
Now i have been driving with no problems and decided to get my build on the road. So lets get started.

Oh i will be doin work my friend!
Just need to drop off the rods and pistons at the machine shop so they can get pressed. And drop off the crank so they can give me the prober rod bearings, Then i got to drop off the block for main bearings. And then botom end will be all done.

So i will be replacing my buddys clutch today so with the money he throws me im going to get this bottom end done hopefully :/. But idk if i want to run a b16 head or gsr? I have been leanin towards the gsr since it will give me a higher compression. But i will be doing a port/pollish and valve job soooo? Discuss!

 

dont take your rods and pistons to united speed world. The mounted mine the wrong way. Blew my shit up.

Thanks i will keep that in mind, but i found what i believe to be a ctr ecu and the guy said i can have it for 80 if i drive to daytona. What you guys think should i run it or just go with a gsr ecu?
