i recently but a b18b1 engine with a ls tranny and am puttin it on my 85 crx si id like to know wats a good mix to put as ahead on the engine i was thinkin gsr head but then a friend told me that a b16 head will be better and to put type r pistons id like to know ideas on how to mix this engne which will be my first project i want it for tracks make it fast thank u any suggestions will help.

 

b16 head and tranny and type r cams or even better skunk 2 cams pro series cams. i dont know about pistons my civic is turbod but my brother started on his ls not too long ago but id say ctr if your not goin with an aftermarket company

 

no to the ctr too high of a comp ratio if its to be street driven and use pump gas... go with some jdm p30's, plus is a direct fit on the ls rods..
