okay guys im re-building a b18b1 its gonna have itr pistons in it n eventually be ls/v....heres a few pictures
oo ya it will be goin in something not sure what tho...
heres the head after pulling it apart...didnt have my camera when i was pullin it apart.

Just about finished cleaning the head.

looks good.i would went with the b16 pistons myself just for Rod hassle reasons..but love the steel flywheel ..good luck on it all..felpro valve seals ftw
...ohh and make sure you pressure blow out thos oil passages for the rockers

nice! heading in the right direction with those arp rod bolts/head studs i would definitely save up and have both for security. what kind of valve springs and retainers are they if you dont mind me asking>?

rangcrxum-i had pr3's too but there not brand new n there still a lil more comp than what i want. Plans are to eventually slap a vtec head & direct port on it.
& im having a mechine shop press the rods n shit
Teamjdm239- umm as far as head its gonna be stock not sure if im gonna even put the head n block together cause like i said i want a vtec head. BUT i have a B20b4 thats getting swapped n im gonna do the B20 up all the way eventually.

looks good i just put my new short block in 2 months ago. i did the same setup itr with ls rods and itr oil pump. but im not sure if i want to put my stage 2 cowers with spray or ls vtec. have you seen the 205 hp, 150 tq all motor ls on htech ?
word ya i got a b20 ima do up & this im doin a vtec head on.
& nahh i haven't seen that build .
