Default I do not smell like smoke

Help guys.

Every time I go out in my 92 EG Hatch which has the GSR cloth interior I have to hear my BF go off about me smelling like cigarette smoke.

I don't smell it. None of my other friends who also don't smoke smell it but he does and I am sick of hearing about it.

I've cleaned the hell out of the interior and yet this persists.

What can I do to get rid of something no one else but him smells.

Thanks.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Hey, sorry I didnt see this sooner! Your best bet is a deep shampoo/extractor for the seatas and the carpet. You may also look into this AC cleaning device, 1Z einszett Klima-Cleaner Air Conditioning Cleaner. You will want to accomplish all of this in the same day to remove everything at once. Problem is, some cars just have a "smell" and I know that some of the older civics do have a certain smell, but its not bad, your BF may just be confusing this smell with smoke?

Thanks. Please send me a PM with how much you would charge to do this service.

and to answer a few others:

Leahter sux for racing - I autox and sliding around in a seat while taking a turn - no thank you.

Exchange him? No. Reboot him. Yes.

What about some alacantra(sp?) race seats? The evo's are pretty cheap and hold you in nice!
