Presidential Detailed: 2006 Kraftwerks Supercharged S2000-400WHP!!
This is a friend of mine, Joe. Ive known him since I purchased my S2K a year or so ago and began hanging out with the S2K community. Ive seen this car go from stock to a full out auto-x/track monster! This particular car has the Kraftwerks Rotrex Supercharger on it and WOW is all I have to say! I had the pleasure of picking the car up and driving it about 30 minutes back to my house! I strongly feel this is what ALL S2K's should come with STANDARD! While this car is fairly new and pampered it still had your normal swirling in the paint and the owner wanted it in even BETTER shape than it already was. This was supposed to be a 2 day detail, but the weather was laughing at me as it rained HARD the entire first day I had the car and then we had FREEZING weather(I believe we hit the 20's this week!!!) so it slowed me down quite a bit. I ended up working on the car on and off for several days, working around the weather. Anyways, on to the pics!

This car also has a true single weave CF hood, which needed some work after some abuse from the FL sun!
Notice here, while I am taping off the vented slots you can actually see THROUGH the CF.
Here, you can see just how badly it had been oxidized.
Here, I am using a LC PFW Spot Buff pad for the small sections of the vents.
50/50 Shot just after compounding.
Before..
After..
Notice how dull the reflections are..
And now everything is very crisp!
Hood completed..

Rear quarter panel after compounding.
Then after 106FA/White. Still needs a finishing polish at this point.
50/50 on the trunk..
After final polishing using 3m Ultrafina on a 3m UK Finishing Pad. Front Fender.

its funny how many s2k's you get. ive had the same trend, about 5or6 s65's that i do on a normal basis for some reason i seem to get them doen very quickly becasue its like working an assembly line on them. looks good. i enojoy giving a car a good buff, but with being mobile i get alot more regular washes then anything else and ive met alot of people who do not care for there cars as much as you would think and dont even wanna pay for them to be properly done...its sad.
