I am getting a 88 Tsi with 80k miles ... in nice shape


What are the Good and the Bad news about this car ?

good car. looks cool, can be made fast, is turbo, has good front mount stock,

con i can think of is only it being a single cam motor. but thats not really a con.

conquests fucking rule, as they said, the G54B has the problem w/ warpin the head but can be taken care of, you can also swap a dohc 4G63 from a dsm into it, but its a rather lengthy project, if you can get one at a good price, go for it...oh ya, they are wicked cool lookin too, especially widebody

Yup, in the list of coolest cars of the late 80's, behind my car and the GN/GNX the Conquest TSI was certainly at the top of the list.

Thanks for the input. my initial reaso to buying the car was the looks of it... It looks nice... and you can leave the exterior stock right down to the rims and it'll still look sweet... Plus I have seen several aound town that are running pretty quick..
