actually i only put the fmu you on the car for about 100miles and with out it i can't get the correct upper end fuel for boost seeing that i don't have any electornics i let the motor break in for the first 500miles with little (2-3lbs) boost at most because i had just put in my new ACT stage 4/5 Clutch and needed to break it in as well, which means it was babied for 500 miles before even being boosted upon, also the fmu only adds extra fuel when boost is present not all the time, so under little to no boost even if it was on there it would produce that much fuel, as for the injectors they still produce the same as factory but they have the capability to produce more...so "washing" out the pistons wasn't the case i think they were just improperly gapped in the first place :o

What were the rings gapped at? What did you use to control the 440's?How was the car running during the break in? Did it burn oil bad, did it smoke. What color was the smoke? How were the cylinder wall's prepared, honed, bored and honed,nothing...I'm just tring to find out what went wrong, so it dosen't happen again....

okay, during the break in it ran like a dream the only problem i had was the turbo i had at first was used and of course it had a blockage in it so it only lasted about 2 days beforeit started to ting fromthe shaft being super heated (no lub) then i bought a brand new one and after that no problems until recently when i started to boost around 10-15lbs and it would be fine rolling into it but then choppy up top...John at Secret Services quickly relied that the secondaries weren't openign fast enough and once we just left them open the problem went away...my only problem right now is that only under 10-15 lbs. boost at 5,000 plus rpm it will start to smoke if i let off quickly and its white which means oil...if i et off slow/downsift and let off it doesn't do it... as for the injectors nothing htier not over 30% larger then factory so the stock ECU was fine

JE pistons are the worst, they are not worth the metal they used to make them....
