ok what exactly do i need for a simple turbo set up. lets say i find a t25 for my ka24de, and run stock boost what other actual parts do i need to make this turbo work??? turbo itself, turbo manifoldm whatelse? assuming my engine is in good enough shape for it

 

Stronger fuel pump, some type of boost dependent fuel pressure regulator, BOV, sometype of wastegate, necessary lines (fuel, oil feed/return, etc....), gauges, there's more but can't think of them right now.

 

also a prefab. downpipe, boost controller, etc......etc....etc........

 

T25 wouldn't be worth your while. You need at least a T3 or T4 to make enough air to make a difference.

Unless you're looking for like a 30HP increase...

 

Forged internals (pistons, rods), thicker head gasket, fuel injectors, etc. How much boost do you want to run?

 

how about an sr20det? or if u wanna go with the ka they sell a kit...might as well do it right if you gonna do it....just my 0.02cents...i know there is someone on this site making some good power on his ka...looks stock as hell from what i see....bad ass...ka makes some good torque...good luck

 

yeah my actual plan is an sr20 but i have this t25 lying around that i got from a friend and i just wanted to see if i could make use of it temporarily untill i reach that sr20 which i know will not be anytime soon. i know the t25 isnt that much but might as well use it with a shit ass turbo set up for the time being. isnt there an s14 with a turbo KA?? dr evil??
