Default Porsche Project - Stage 1 - Electronics

Yesterday I recieved my HKS EVC IV and AIC III from japan.

After reviewing the contents I have determined that everything is there and in top notch condition.

Now all I need to do is track down 2 high resistance fuel injectors that flow between 600 and 800 cc.

Just a few more months and some additional parts and I will be able to start on all the work required to make use of all this stuff.

Why would you want all that stuff from Japan? Your car wasn't made there, nor do I know of a lot of 930s running around on Japanesse streets. I just don't understand why that is do disireable.

I didn't know you had a kid.

I could have cared less where I got them from. It was just my luck that the best deal I could find on some quality used HKS equipment was from japan.

I am somewhat amused about it for the reasons you mentioned, but I guess since HKS is a japanese company it only makes sense that they would be most abundant as JDM.

On another related tangent this will also allow me to joke around on TR that I have a JDM equipped porshe.

Yep, I am with child. If not for having a nearly 2 year old daughter I would have enough surplus finances to get all this work done in a couple of months instead of needing to wait that long to get the stuff to start.

Nope, probably just one of the other red 911s or 930s in town that look similar.

Now if you were actually on Bears or Bruce B Downs between 10 and 10:30 it might have been me.
