What do you guys think about the JR Blowers? I need more power to keep the sleeper alive and nothing is more sleeper then the JR Blower. I thinking along the lines of 11 psi of trust with the JR water injection making somewhere in the area of 225-240hp at the wheels. just the though gives me that warm tingling feeling.

honestly bro i would stay away form it especally with the b16 it doesnt add nearly what youd expect i will however say they do quite nice on a b18. ive got alot of experence on them let me know if you need ant help. also i would strongly suggest you stay away from the water injection it will rob you of power! if you do decide to do it i can give you a nice setup to run just let me know.

Thanx alot! I was only going to do the JR thing because the LHT mounts I have where originally designed for the JR blower the mounts make the engine sit very close to the radiator give me nearly zero clearance for a turbine personally Id would rather go with the turbo as well. bye the way I saw you coming from plantcity the other day did you fix the hatch? or did you just though in the ls for now.

could we maybe get a T3/T4 to fit using a fluidyne radiator from a 92-95 civic ? then run custom I.C. piping ? what kind of wastgate could we stick in there?

Honestly of you are willing to ditch your ac we could throw a mean ass turbo on ther just slap in a single core radiator.believe it of no there is actuall some room in there if you do this and yes my car is back running on new spare motor

Honestly i dont know i was trying to figure that one out myself! i had put the kit on my friends car and set the timing to 16 and it was quick but didnt seem as quick as it should be he was pushing 8 psi and i had a gsr pushing 6 psi and mine felt quicker.so i decided to take the water injection off and i set his timing to like 9 and it is amazing now! i couldnt believe how much it affected it it freed up like 20 hp at least.i have heard other people who are dissatisfied with the WI also. it just doesnt seem to do that well. i would recommend a hondata or even a standalone management unit it may cost a little more but you will benifit much more off of it.these are just my suggestions im sure some will argue but this is what i have come across and i just thought id pass it on.

Wouldnt it have the same effect as using too much octane? If you subdue the combustion too much youll lose power. Im sure that on an even higher compression engine you would find the w/i to help with detonation and power.
Im sure a car could be made quite fast with a jr blower with all the torque youre getting you could always play with CR and just as you would with a turbo upgrade the internals and tune accordingly.

I dont think the screw type blower can flow as much as the centrifugal design thats why the JR blower does not have as much potential as a turbo aslo take in the fact that the JR blower is not intercooled. the only thing that attracted me to it was the fact that I can remain sleeper !
