Has anyone had bad work done by J and H Automitive?
I just had some work done by this company. Let me just explain how terrible my experience was. I was told by James at J&H We only do quality work here. All of our work is show quality. You will not be dissapointed. Well that seems like a good sign of a company that cares about their work. I decided to let them do my piping. After the job was finished I drove the car home. ON the way home a quater mile away from the shop I decide to go into boost and try the new piping out. POOF!! My pipes blow off. My car blows black smoke and the car stalls. I get out of the car on the side of the road let me add in the rain and inspect the hoses. It does not appear to be bad. A hose just blew off so I put the hose back on and drove home not going into boost. When I get home I inspect the work. J&H used 2.75in. inner diameter hose on 2.5 pipe. This is unacceptable. They used Home Depot hose clampsJames promised high quality clamps. They did not use silicone on the turbo outlet. Inside the pipes was not cleaned out and not grinded down before welded. The outside of the tips of the pipes were not smoothed down and there were not lips on the pipes. On the turbo outlet the pipe only had one inch of room to fit the hose onto. The hose clamps do not even fit in this short of distance. Holes were drilled in the pipes at the tips to powder coata wire should have ran through the pipes to hold them to powder coat them. A hose that taps into the piping is crimped because they welded the part of the pipe wrong the car can not run correctly with this hose crimped. My intercooler was dented. I only took my intercooler out of the box a couple of times to admire it and this was on the bed and it was never dropped. I mentioned this to James and he said I probable did it on the way home. I did not hit a single bump on the way home. Where the intercooler was mounted they cut out parts of metal supports of my car without my permission instead of cutting the plastic bumper cover. I asked him to extend my air filter piping to outside the engine bay. They used one bend for this and used my extra hose and it was extended below where the splash guard would go. My car is not running right now because I have to fix the work. I am very upset with my the quality of their work and I want my money back. I spent way too much money for such a low quality shitty job. It does not appear that they will refund my money but I will keep trying. IF anyone has had the same problem with this company and has tried to get their money back or was just dissapointed with their work please let me know. And also please express your dissapointment. Hey Pieboy. Good to hear from you. Sorry you had such a bad expirence. I wish there was something I could do about it but there isnt. I hope you get it all straightened out. Why can people just do their jobs right? Losers.

pieboy i am sorry to hear about the shoty workmanship. i am going to move this to free-4-all so more people can see it that way they know who to watch out for and to maybe get you some more responces. once again sorry to hear about the crapy work.
