boost will be dependant on your compression ratio, and intake charge temps, off course fuel supply and if your internals will handle it.

t3/4 of what ar. - that makes a big difference
for a bbc i would do a t4 only

if you can fabricate yourself you could save a ton of money. But beware turbo charging is not cheap. Expect to be in the several thousand dollar range before its all said and done. Do some research, figure out a budget and then plan to spend double that amount to get it right.

you could take some shorty headers and flip them forwards. not sure if its possible on big blocks though. you could always cut them up if needed.

i would do a single s480 t6 1.32 on that thing. and put it in the engine bay. will be capable of well over 1000hp easily. the borg warner ETT wheels are so damn efficient its not even funny

How high are you spinning your 454 and what kind of drivability do you want?/power do you wanna make?
Turbo suggestions should really be based off of that...as for as exhaust plumbing changes, oil feed and intercooler needs, I think everyone has you covered.

The extended tip borg S480's are quite nice...here is an S475 sitting next to my old VF34 (coated) and my empty dew

but's a tad too small for my current build goals...
