Tial 38mm wg gasket question

Depends on what kind of manifold/flange you will be bolting to... Cast manifold, yes... But I have seen some steel flanges (mild and stainless) become slightly warped after welding, and they will not seal properly without a gasket....

i ran mine w/o a gasket for the longest time and didn't notice it leaking. I have a SS manifold as well. However, I ordered another wastegate and it came with the gasket so I put it on just for shits and giggles.

slowcxhatch wasnt running 1 or crackd the gasket or something and it was leaking like a bitch....... when he put the gasket in it made a huge difference

i wasnt running a wastegate valve seat seal ring... as far as gasket i would run one but some silicone hi temp gasket is working damn good for me...

i didnt run a gasket from the manifold to the wastegate but it had that metal ring inside. i did use a gasket for my dumptube though. Never had a problem without a gasket. Never noticed a leak.
