Manifolds + turbo = exhaust leak, to say the least.

And getting the fuel to the car is through the carb(s), just like any other setup. The piping, however, will need to be creative, and you'll run into some hood clearance issues. Chevelles have a hard time with a 2" air filter and top.

Checkout www.turbomustangs.com . Yeah yeah I know, but there are a LOT of GM and MOPAR people that hang out there and discuss. They have a forums for DIY/Junkyard turbo setups and carbureted setups. Lots of good information and classifieds

Go EFI and run a stand alone in it. May take away some of the headaches and make things a little easier with regard to even fuel delivery. Painless wiring makes great EFI conversion harnesses.

Staying with carbs is possible, and has been done many, many times before. Be prepared to tow your car to a dyno and spend a LOT of money tuning it. Because rather than hit a few buttons, it'll be rejet the carbs and regap the plugs between runs.

You can do a blow thru or draw thru system depends on the carb and if they are boost sensitive thru the body or not. Done both Blow thru is better as far as drivability.
