Silly question?
A friend of mine is doing a custom turbo setup on his 92 ex civic...he wants to know what kind of power he will make using a TE04H, also he wants to know if this is a good turbo for a custom kit.
~Thanks~

with a half way respectable kit and the proper fuel management use this
intended boost in psi/14.7 then +1 then X naturally aspirated hp.
if running a stock intake mani and cams then less because of the restricted flow on the stock hatch motor. with a better flowing mani and the right cams then closer to the calculated number.
this formula is good for all forced induction vehicles as a guideline only. it is also at the crank based from the na hp if you are using factory ratings then give room for a little lower. vtec cars tend to do a little better because of the vtec. and on 2000 hp machines I can't say for sure but for most of us its close enough to be happy with
