Default Turbo Timer

How important is it to have one if you don't always take the time to let the car idle before you turn it off? What are some good timers available on the market that won't break the pocketbook?

Not that important but if you want to sit in the car for 30 sec. to 1 min and a half. and let it cool down after driving. But if you just cruise around in the parking lot then by the time you do find one (especially at our job lot) then you shouldn't have to worry about it that much. I had one and made it easier on me. Thtas my .02 cents

well i was under the impression that if your car runs real hard and then you turn your engine off right away, the oil in the turbo cartridge will thicken. if this happens the 270 throw out bearing will get clogged up pretty bad. its only like $100 off of ebay, might as well. my friend has a greddy for his vr4, it is pretty nice. im sure u can get like an amexi for pretty cheap too.
