Question HELP!!!Broke off a bolt in my manifold....

OK So I get my new turbo a couple days ago,and earlier today I was boltin everything up and on the last bolt to hold the turbo to my POS drag mani. SNAP!!! The shitty WalMart bolt snapped off in the mani.... It was a 3/8"-16 1.5" I believe....

Question 1: Can anyone get it out for me or know how I can do it???
Question 2: does anyone know the proper bolts to use for this to prevent it from happening again???
Question 3: If I cant get it out would it be safe to only use 3 bolts for a little bit until I get my SFP mani???

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have to take the car to Glen later today (Monday) for the downpipe.....

I wouldn't use 3 bolts as you may burn up a valve. As far as getting the bolt out, depending on how you can get to it, you can either use an easy out like AW11 said, or you can drill it out. The bolts I would recommed using are stainless steel grade 8 if you can find them (Im new to the Tampa area so I couldn't tell you where around here to get them).

I got the kit to back it out for 20 bucs and with the help of some WD40 it worked effortlessly.... I now have all 4 bolts in that are the best grade I could find...... I thik it was a good investment because this isnt the first time Ive done that and I bet it wont be the last.....

If the head broke there shouldn't be much pressure on the bolt and it should come out pretty easily with a simple screwdriver (might have to notch the top). If it's not that simple, and there's enough bolt left, take a pair of vice-grips to it. If all the above isn't possible you'll have to just drill a pilot hole and use a bolt extractor.

Note: If the bolt is stuck chances are you're using the wrong bolt (ie: thread pitch is wrong, length is too long, or you've completely messed up and are using standard instead of metric).

Lowe's has a great selections of grade 8 standard and metric bolts...if your in the st pete/clearwater area, Tri-city Bolt carry just about every possible head (allen/hex) and thread/length combo's you can think of.
