Default Pistons?

What is everyone's take on Probe and Ross pistons? My buddy has spoken to both of the companies and was not impressed with the manufacturing process of Ross, however he said Probe made a decent piston. Does anyone have experience with these brands. This would be for a forced induction application (b18b/c). Thank you for any input.

I don't know very much about either of these brands, but if I were you I would stick to one of the larger, more well known names as they have been tried and true and most of the time that is the reason they have the reputations they have.... Companies such as JE, Wiseco/Endyn, Arias, SRP, and CP have pretty good reputations to live up to and are constantly reviewing their products and developing new ones to stay on the cutting edge and uphold those reputations.... in my opinion these brands are tried and true, and deserve their reputations... I would trust one of these brands over somethin I had never heard of anyday..... just my $.02

This is true, however all of these companies were once new and unheard of. CP was another one I was considering. Thanks for the input though.

i do agree JEs are moving their way to the bottom and I plan on replacing mine soon but in the meantime they are fine and i find them to be pretty reliable compared to some things i have heard but all I was saying by my last post was while a new company may be an up and comer that has a great product, why take the risk that they dont and be one of the first to buy them and have the misfortune to find out they are an inferior product so something like a CP or Endyn Wiseco... Also not to Hijack but who here uses, or knows someone who uses the rollerwaves... I was thinkin about rebuilding with those but would like a couple references first.... ok my hijacking is over.....
