MBC question
hey guys, i just got my manual bost controller, installed it and it is only allowing me to boost 2 PSI higher, whats wrong here.....could it be that my wastegate actuator is set at 5psi and it wont let me go higher or do i need to turn fuel pressure up?

Why did you run a T with one side going to the MBC and one side going to the WG? that would immediately let the WG see full pressure without bleeding anything. Thus giving you very low boost. Get rid of that T and run a line from turbo, to MBC...then MBC to WG.

Correct!!! that additional "T" you added basically eliminates the MBC

Not necessarily. If its similar in style to the air compressor valves, running it inline will do nothing but slow down boost response. Those valves work by venting boost to the atmosphere so the wastegate doesn't see it. So in that situation, "T"ing it is appropriate. We just have to determine what style MBC he has and go from there. Considering he hasn't posted up about it, it can't be a huge concern for him so I'm not too worried about it.
This is what he has i believe. Same as a Joe P basically. You dont need that T in there
