And take it from someone who's been around fab work, its not just prissy ricers with intercoolers that are worried about integrety and cosmetics in their welds. Any competent TIG welder should be able to lay a good bead that will seal an intercooler core. There's a guy off of Livingston Rd way in the boonies that does awesome work, but I don't have any info for him cause he did work for my friend.
