Studying Profec B
ok so i used to search utility to find information on the profec B... i noticed that alot of people were having a few problems with them...such as boost creeping in the higher gears... ermm i also remember alot of people telling others to double check the switches on the back of the controller... i have mine set to actuator settings... but what i wanted to know is those of you who said you had problems...did you check your switches on the back of the controller to see if they were correct, and if not did you correct it and solve your problems???
and for stock t25 on sr... will hks actuator help hold steady boost through gears???

Jonas, Just go see scott over at SS and he can get you set up. He did a great job on mine. BTW let me know on the drags when you go to the track.

hks actuator will make it so boost dosent fall off in high rpm, just makes things more steady... Profec b's are rock solid in all gears ive never heard of one creeping, however avc-r's often do

Jonas,
on a stock T25 there is no boost controller OR WG actuator that is going to make it hold 14 psi all the way out to redline. it's not possible. the compressor is only 24 lb/min it cant flow much more than that.
as for boost creep.
it any boost controller will have a littel bit of boost creep in different conditions. the key is to not have your car tuned so close to the edge that if you have a bit of creep it is going to grenade your motor.
I have little to no boost control issues with my AVC-R.
