Can my engine take this?
I'm runnin a custom turbo kit pushin 7 lbs as soon as 2500 rpm.I might be aquiring a dry nitrous kit soon on a deal i'm makin.I was wondering which is safer to spray on my intercooler or into my engine. If i sprayed into my engine(55 shot) i was thinkin get a secondary fuel pump and set my injectors to give it more fuel at the rpm i spray.Btw this a internally stock dohc zc motor.
I'm not too sure of how much power a zc motor will handle but 7psi and a 55shot may be pushing it.
I'm sure keeping the ic cool with some n2o will make it more than happy. But for only 7psi thats probably not needed. I guess it also depends on your set up and turbo.
Spray the motor and see what happends!

remember by sprayin your cooler you densify the aircharge, thus raising boost levels, when my neighbor was running 10psi, and sprayed his intercooler, the gauge read right below 13psi so be careful, the n20, and cryo spray companies tell you to lower the boost level before using thier product to be safe, if you make power that low in the rpm band, why would you need much more power, this is obviously in a crx, that thing should be hauling ass a 7psi?!?!?!

yea i agree with ^ about sprayin through the i/c.They say zc's can safely do 200hp and from there ur pushin it.btw now i have fixed my boost leaks and need to actually find a way to lower my boost. It spikes to 10 lbs.
not about the PSI, its all about the CFM
