Modified actuator to lower boost
Modified actuator to lower boost
I need to modify(rig)my actuator to make lower boost.I'm pretty sure its shorten for lower boost and lengthen for higher boost.I'm just asking to make sure.

The best way is to somehow put a spring on the wastegate flapper arm to something that allows the spring to pull the flapper closed (usually wastegate actuator "can"). You'll need to play around with spring pressures, but this is about the most reliable way to lower boost. What wastegate are you running that you need a lower opening pressure?
Boost controller cannot make set the boost lower than what the WG is set at

What i meant was for example. The WG on my car will let me run a minimum of 8psi. There is no boost controller i can install to run 4psi. Sorry if i was unclear.

you can bend the accuator to move it closer to the flapper, this would lower just a little but it would also couse more lag im sure.
this would not be a perfect solution.
