question about cracked manifold

question about cracked manifold

i have a slight crack in my manifold just below where the wastegate is..so my question is:

would a slight crack in the manifold hinder performance? what would be some of the effects of it?

hey John, this is Jerune....i noticed that my boost controller was turned up alot...so i checked the mani and found a small crack...i will be getting it welded tomorrow...should i turn down the boost on the controller?
