is it the turbo?
after im done driving my car..i let it cool..cuz i dont have a turbo timer..so i let it idel..i let it ideal for like 2mins..and when i turn off the car i hear a unwinding sound..almsot sounds like the turbo is just spooling down really slow...? .. I cant figure it out...does anybody know what this is..and also i have a 94Z and im having trouble hearing my turbo's spool... the car pulls fine IMO..but i dunno....does anybody have any suggestions of whats going on?

my turbo did that....well it did it the last time i started my car...which was ooog let's say...6 months ago. whenever i would turn it off...it would go 'wheeeeeez'. i only guessed it was the sound of the shaft spinning with no oil pressure...but i dunno..it didnt really affect it any

Not sure about the shut off sound but Jeff is more then likely correct on the reason you can't hear spool. Is the car basically stock? I couldn't hear the turbo on my car until I opened up the intake and exhaust.
