Yeah I just use it in manual mode, like last night I was literally sitting there for almost an hour taking the same picture over and over again and now I know more about the ISO settings and aperture as well, and how if the shutter speed is too fast like 1/4000 second the picture gets darker as in to taking it at like 1/3 :o I have alot to learn

you can also look up tutorials on youtube im sure theres a lot out there. When i first got my D3000 i got lazy and didnt use it in manual lol until i realized i was not using my cameras full potential, so i forced myself to always shoot on manual. Its harder and i get frustrated, but i know now how to get a good pic, not great, but way better than before haha.
Sorry that was mean.....Just read up as much as you can. Reading is actually one of the best tools for becoming a better photographer.

find it cheaper for me then, i didnt want a canon or an ancient model like the d90 anyways not even the d5000 or d3000 because theyre kind of old and i wanted an entry level recent one. yeah actually ive been reading so much up on them and im learning so much now

Same goes for Canon. The 5DmkII is old as shit but still the best camera's out in that range.
