I'd say all together pretty good.
I might have:
- Chopped out the few little things in the backround.
- Gotten a little better framing on the tach
- Contrasted the sky either a little more or less.
I did enjoy the others on Flickr too
Just watch your backgrounds a little more..

Good stuff keep them coming

I wish I could clone out some of the background crap, but I don't have CS4/5 only Elements 8
Thanks for the comments!

I'm a photoshop moron so I just did it with a bit of copy, paste, erase, and a bit of contrast and brightness adjustment. You could do all the same stuff with Elements.

Daaammmnn! I'm not that great with PS. How did you flip the four little bushes/trees/whatever those are??
I'm not quite sure what you're looking at, but I actually used 3 different additional layers to cover the background crap. They were all basically done the same way though. I don't have a copy of Elements on any of my machines right now, so I can't remember if you can "free transform" a layer, but I think you can. If so, you can copy a bit, paste it in, choose the tool to do the "free transform" and click the middle handle on one side (or the other), and then drag that side straight across until the it's 100% horizontally flipped. Or, if that's not an option, copy a section, paste it into a completely new file, and then flip the image horizontally, copy it again, and past it back into the original image.
I really am a photoshop moron though... I've simply learned by doing and trying stuff, mainly to do car 'chops. I've never even done a tutorial. I swear there have to be a million better ways to do 95% of the crap I do. Maybe one day I'll bother to learn the "right" way, but in the meantime I'll just keep using the Photoshop equivalent of the BFH method.

Haha will do. I'm working on scheduling shoots with two more Ferraris this weekend in S. Florida. A red 360 coupe and a new black 458 Italia.
To be honest, high end cars have always been my thing. I like everything, but Ive always been more into supercars than Civics. But there's nothing wrong with any class of car, just what I prefer. I'm a member on several forums and have met many people from Tampa, Orlando, both coasts, and South Florida as well.
I did a bunch of free shoots over the summer to build my portfolio and get some practice and it paid off. If you show that you're not just some punk kid with a camera and you're respectful then all of those exotic owners are cool. Trust me, I have many friends with supercars.

The 2nd image is great, the others are a little bland and uninspired. In this case the car is far from bland and uninspired, so the rest of the image really needs to be a grand slam to compliment.

Please post hi rez pics of the 458....PLEASE PLEASE. Question, do these owners usually take you for a spin in their Ferrari's after taking pics? You will enjoy the 458, that's for sure. After having a 430 for 8 or so hours a couple years ago all I can say now is "I get it."

The owners take me for a ride if I ask them. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I've been around them for so long I don't usually freak out when I get a chance to go for a ride.
