Theif on the loose!!! With my lens
Saturday night at the Round Up, this schmuck decided to take my Lowpro bag with my 17-40L like it was his own.
We have the video of him taking my bag at 1:28am and actually being a nice guy and taking my keys to the bouncer saying he found them in the parking lot.
These are pictures of him coming in the front door and meeting his friends. if you have any information on this...there is a reward!!! I'm filing a police report now, so charges will be filed if he's caught. The lens is worth $700 so it's a felony. Sucks for him.

I took down the picture because we sorta want this guy to come back to the bar. The kid he hangs with is a regular, so it'll happen. I'll be patient and karma will bite hard

Same shit happen to me in Ybor but the "New York, New York" Pizzeria owner didnt want to share the video of that night.

sorry to here low life people need to put in jail with rapests and tell the rapests for every dirty thing they do they get a few extra spoon fulls of gravy or hours in the yard.
do they have a camera on the bar and did he use a credit card?
we use to at dog in gainesville we found someone buying brews looked at the time for the credit card used facebook to find the person and pressed charges against them for stealing a custom coach bag with a d80 and 50 1.4 on it in side (my old camera and the girlfriend bag)

damn, that does suck! but i guess its better that your camera wasn't in the bag also. but hopefully you find this scum bag and he goes to jail and gets raped every night before he goes to bed!!!

Unfortunately, Saturday nights is Sink or Swim. $12 at the door and you drink all night and that's exactly what he did for the 2 hours he was there. He tipped cash and we watched the people that were around him, and they all paid cash, so no CC on file. That was one of the first things we looked for.
Thank heavens this is the bar I work/shoot at so I can get access to any of the video any time I want. We've spread both of their faces all over Facebook in hopes that someone recognizes him. One thing, he won't ever be able to set foot in the Round Up again lol Which hey, suits me just fine but if he did, he wouldn't walk out the door the same way he came in.
Now that the police report is filed, if he tries to pawn it, he'll get caught. Do I think he'll get caught and I get my lens back? Probably not but spreading his face all over the internet and making it viral....works for me. I want everyone to know what a piece of shit this guy is.
