LOL you're still talking?
Go post some pictures, unless you're still reading up on reflections.
I said nothing about not handling critique, just pointing out that we have people like you on the sign forums as well.
LOVE to critique others work rarely posting their own for others to return the favor or to see if you even put into use what you pick out on other peoples work.
I do what I do for me, no one else.
I don't really care if others don't think I'm following photography "rules".
And Ironically enough others have found my work worthy enough to pay for if.

Amazing pictures! Ive been to a lot of islands in the area, but not the DR. One thing I love about traveling is the architecture & history, and there looks to be plenty there.

Really terrific job. I love the tree especially, I have never seen anything like that before, the roots really stand out. You did a great job in capturing emotion with your street photos, I really enjoyed them. A lot of them I think would have worked out very well in black and white too, it lets the emotion shine through a little more. Other than that I really enjoyed the set. Usually when there are alot of photos there's like 3 of the same shot at different angles and just boring stuff but you kept a variety and it was interesting from the first to the last. Nice work!
Not trying to get into the above "debate" but photography like this is about perspective. While it may only show what certain cities are like, it still shows us more than no photos at all.
TOS wasn't sent there by a publication to cover anything specific, this is just his perspective on his surroundings during his visit to DR. I am an experienced photographer just as many people are on these forums, each in our own right and we would have all come back with completely different photos because our perspectives are all different. What some may see to be a key point of a location others may not but that's what makes photography personal, we all see things in a different way and show it through our photography.
What we should all be thankful for is he was kind enough to share his photos and that this wasn't another one of those threads with 600 over processed point n shoot images with big comic sans watermarks.
Just my .02

I don't need to post my work here to gain your approval to C&C, I've posted a few fun images for friends that you could have very easily critiqued. 99% of my work goes directly to print, 100% of my income is photography, I've been around the block in this industry a few times. Are you catching on now?
You feel I don't post enough images, it's ok I get it. The part you aren't getting is that I don't care if you think I don't post enough images. Fair enough? If you've got anything else to say PM me, you've got a good thread going here.

Interesting, for such a professional, your blog, site and flicker seems very outdated ...
Not even 1 tear sheet from all this 99% to print work.
You are funny meng...
BTW thanks Cola!
