I just tossed up one of the shots, I wanted to get more done tonight but my world famous procrastination kicked in

Ok, there all up now, I'm happy with them but I'd still like to get your guys input if you have any. Oh and the cooler color temp is what they wanted, I would have kept it warmer personally but the customer is always right haha.

Honestly I think these look a bit flat to me. I'd have gone less power, you killed most of the ambient light with the power and the splash of the light.

Thanks for the input, we got out there a little later the I wanted so there wasn't really any ambient to work with unfortunetly.

You can't set up a strobe on a boom, point it and shoot--its nothing fancy about that.
When I look at this photo, its looking like a deer in headlights. If I were to use this, I'd have flagged some of the light off from the talents right side of there face.
I would have taken a white board, walked down a bit and shoot the strobe off the white board to give your subject some light in the BG.
I'd also like to see maybe a gradient of light, could also have a more defined edge too.
Don't take what I said to heart; I looked at the photo and I knew where you placed the strobes way before I seen the behind the scene photos.
I'm not saying what you did is wrong, I just think you went out and did it the easy-way. Be more creative and artistic and try to expand on what you can do. Think about it from a creative perspective and elaborate with the idea.

I don't shoot photos, I shoot movies. Only up until recently I've been doing stills & even then I've never posted underexposed work; your monitor must have been showing the images darker.
I edit on a calibrated monitor, are you sure your monitor is calibrated? I'm going to take that as a NO.
