Vinyl is holding up with the brakes as expected as long as its not heavy braking.

Fixie's don't really use brakes anyways, they use the pedals to slow down.

I think I'm going to build a bamboo fixie.

^Yep, although that fixie has a pivot side pull on the rear, but I'm sure you saw that lol.

Have you done a set of car wheels yet?

kims bike isnt a fixed gear its a single speed so she needs brakes.
