Both of the skyway shots are good. There really isn't a great place to take a pic of the skyway unless you're on the water. Very nice.

We almost went on the Valor but went with the Legend instead since it was easier on us. Plus we got upgraded for free to a balcony since I'm a past guest with Carnival from my Alaskan cruise.

I liked it a lot. Both the Western Caribbean and the Alaskan Cruise are my favorite vacations ever. I want to go on the Carnival Dream next year.

Thanks!

Here is a pic going on the Skyway bridge.

Its crazy how close the boat came to the bottom of the bridge. If the water was choppy I dont think we would have made it under.

Yeah, so far we have 3 booked but haven't scheduled any for Roatan yet. When we were going to, they only showed a golfing excursion available. The wife called and they were supposed to be redoing the list so we will look again to see if they've added any more. We had thought about booking a private excursion for Roatan but have that nagging fear of not getting back to the boat in time.

We each got to pick an excursion that we wanted to do so the wife wanted to do the Kayak Safari at Grand Cayman, my daughter wanted to do the Lost world Canopy tour/zip line at Belize and I wanted to see the Mayan Ruins at Cozumel. We'll have to see what the updated list for Roatan has and decide for there.

Any suggestions for a family to do or see otherwise?

There is quite a bit to do. How old is your daughter? I did cave tubing in Belize. It was amazing!!! Then in Cozumel we did the Snorkeling/Zipline Adventure combo. Roatan has a badass zipline park I wish I would have done. Its right off the port in walking distance and has 11 ziplines going down the mountain. Longest zipline I believe is 1200ft and 900ft high or something

The only excursion I did was the canopy tour/zip lining in Belize. It was CRAZY fun! They take you on a rusted out retreaded tires bus 2 hours into the jungle on dirt roads. I have NEVER seen so much poverty but once you get into the jungle, it's sooo much fun! So worth the money, but the bus ride is def bumpy.

I didn't want to do any excursions. I enjoyed walking around each port and chilling... The kids in Roatan are nuts. They try to steal from you and shit... Here's some pics from the zip lining in Belize...

Sorry to threadjack! When I went on my cruise, I went with ~30 friends and family so we all hung out together the whole time... I went ziplining with about 10 friends.

Rent scooters, but don't rent scooters, but seriously rent them Best way to get around the islands. Roatan goes on forever and has some great little beaches on the north side of the island (but watch the gravel roads, ). Caymen, go to 7 mile beach if you just wanna relax and swim/snorkel. Belize, don't get off the boat unless you booked an excursion ahead of time. Cozumel, hit the bars, Carlos & Charley's, Margaritaville etc. rent a car or scooter there to get to the money beaches on the other side of the island that no one ever gets to. They are amazing and bare, hardly anyone else there. We didn't really do any excursions, we made our own wouldn't have done it any other way.
