1.) If you thought you were Amanda's friend and you're not, she probably dropped you. She's ruthless in pruning friends. 
2.) She agreed to go to BG only if she could invite friends to walk around with when she got bored hanging with us... and those are all of the random people you'll end up seeing in the FB event list.

Ide go so some of you could give me hands on tips with the d90. However thats a good 6-7hour drive for me...I will think aboot it.

Holy hell, 6hour drive to learn the D90.
Well I encourage others always to get hands on experience, so I won't say its a foolish move. I'd how-ever give you some free-advice & thats to look on youtube, there are a lot of tuts to learn how to use the D90 beyond the basic's.
That being said, going to BG you'll get a chance to interact with others who are using nikon's so you'll most likely get the feel of the more pro-end bodies, you'll learn fast & you'll pick up ton of tips that youtube won't have.

It depends on how my funds look. I will be going back to Memphis a couple weeks afterward so I need plenty of money for that as well.
