3yrs of evolution...
Well as most have seen with my camera forsale thread that I don't have the time for this hobby right now. I figured I'd make a thread showing those that are looking into photography as a hobby what time will do for you. As well as to give the other resident foto-G's a good laugh. Since I am geared towards automotive photography this thread will be based off of it.
My very first "pro" camera was a Canon Powershot S3IS that I got off eBay from a Pawnshop. I remember constantly arguing on here with a few select members about how there thousand dollar DSLR did not even come close to the awesomeness of my elite $220 pawnshop find. When I look at these photos I feel like a real

After a about a year and a half I blew my savings on a Canon Rebel XSi. I cherished that camera (mainly because it was worth more than my life). I wasn't bad but I definitely was not good. I would guess with the settings and gamble that they would come out good. I would just quickly edit them and be like wooo ya and be done with it! The last two pics in this set are actually pretty good I must say, which proves my gamble remark before. That camera also got me into all sorts of trouble whether it be with SRT4 drivers, viscious animals, ill tempered old woman or the local PD... I was a fotoG badass I tell you!

Now finally 2 1/2-3yrs years in the making, I actually start getting to a level that I honestly can say am "respectably good". I did research on how to place cars, what the best backdrops were, what the best settings were, etc. I also now had two years of Digital Design behind me so I was decent with post processing yada yada yada. The photos explain themselves.

Damn!! the improvement is outstanding! The last pics are great.
