Spent Sunday (November 22, 2009) afternoon walking around Disney's Animal Kingdom snapping pictures. It was super over cast and even rained a little but I managed to get a handful of nice shots.

A lot of them are kinda noisy, the overcast sky made it a little dark so I had the iso cranked high to compensate and I was only using the D60 which doesn't like to run high iso.

Some are a little oof but I really liked the shots anyway lol, I could work on my post processing a little more on a few but I didn't want to create an over processes look and couldn't figure out how to not have them look super over processed.

Nice shot of the lion. He is one of the most difficult animals to catch on the ride. Good job.

There's a trick to him, ask if his it's the time of day his vent is turned on, then just ask your 'driver' to slow down so you an get a picture. All the parents with kid's were loving having me on the ride bc the chick driving was being super cool and stopping and helping me get the right angle for a few shots... then she got called out on the radio for driving slow as heck.



They are real cool, I was hopping to be able to get some of them eating but they were all in nap mode when I got to them.



Thanks! I've got a couple of one of them out of water but I'm not real happy with the way they came out, our "guide" said that's a fairly rare thing to see.
