Good walk-around lens?
I've got my kit(18-55) and a zoom(55-200VR) both with an extended Ritz Camera warranty and I'm tossing around the idea of selling them and getting a nice walk-around lens. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I shoot Nikon just in case anyone was unaware

yes but thats a bit pricey lol, I can add a little($50~$75) on top of whatever you think I can get for the other two lenses.

gonna be tough. figure out what you can get for the other 2 first then decide. are you just trying to consolidate and not have to worry about changing lenses or...?
That's exactly what I was thinking. B&H had it for $650 but if you shot Canon it was only $550 lol

I was looking at getting an 18-135 but Jake looked into it and i guess a lot of people are unsatisfied with certain things about it such as puncusioning. Kind of a bummer cause i was seriously considering saving for that lens

I never use the zoom and I wouldn't mind having a little longer reach on my kit so thats were this is coming from. I think I've used my zoom maybe 7 times and only once for an actual "shoot".
I think I can get around $150 for the zoom and maybe $85 for the kit.
