Chevelle Shoot
Chevelle Shoot
Here are the keepers from a shoot I did of my car on Sunday.
Shot with Pentax K10D
18-55 Pentax kit lens
50-135 f.28 Pentax
Edited for levels, brightness/contrast and saturation.
It was a little more overcast than I would have liked but I think they are OK after editing. When I got there there was a cop sitting in his car in the corner (another joined later) of the lot so I didnt move it around till they were gone cause the car is not exaclty legal and I did'nt want to push my luck. By then I had only a short time till the sun was gone.

nice images. Composed well.
my picks from your set are 1, 2, and 8
1
I like this one due to the building outline fallowing the car all teh way to the edge of teh frame, its a unique angle that shows of the stance of teh car as well as shows off the business end with the slicks.
2
Is a very good front shots, because it give sthe subject a bit of personality, kind of an in your face, "what are you looking at" stance
8
I like because of its vantage point, you werent afraid to get on teh ground and use the DOF to your advantage, the technique is good here as you were able to get the front of teh car in focus and maintain the DOF to the rear.
good shots.

its very nice, for those types of shots, i always tell people to shoot from far away and get low. It really makes the image pop. Also teh perspective helps alot as well. You have the perfect example. 7 is almost the same type of shot, but you were standing. in 8 the vantage point dropped down so teh perspective changed dramatically with the end result being a much better image.
