Shooting Poker for the 1st time... I want your opinions.
So i got a last minute call, telling me i had they messed up and i needed to rush and shoot a poker tournament at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. I was like "ummmm ok" never shot one of those before. But ill wing it. Took with me a 14-24, 50 1.8, and 70-200, d700 and sb900
It was really interesting, some weird people play poker. Made a contacts and leads on people wanting to purchase the photos, etc... Not to mention a bunch of tips So hopefully i get to make even more cash from this.
Well here they are, nothing really stands out, i tried to remember angles that i had scene in Magazines of the WSOP and camera angles on ESPN.

works for me! my family is heading out there later this week for a family friend's little wedding and I wish I could go!!!
Last one is the best, but the hand he has sucks LOL. The others dont really give the "feel" of the game. Use the last one to build on.
If you dont play, sit down and play a low limit game. That will give you some good perspective on it.

Agree with above most are just pictures of guys. Focus more on the game of poker, cards, chips, dealer, etc. Not sure about the rules on photographing poker but I'm sure considering they asked you to take pictures anything goes.
