im assuming that vivitar is an old school all manual lens

haha, yea. It weighs a ton and always makes people take notice of you I feel like the paparazzi when I use it.

yep, only thing is it has a few marks on the glass (I don't think they effect the image) and the tripod mount has a crack in it but I work in a metal fabrication shop now so I'm gonna get the guys to make me a new one . It's not the best lens for quality images cause it seems very soft but I guess I could always use it for portraits, or sell it for $20 and make a profit haha

can someone please guide in the right direction where to go and how much really i should spend on a canon 50d....with the lens 28-135 or should i buy the lens seperate...please thanks in advance for your help

But if I'm not mistaken, a 50D you have to buy a separate lens anyway. Most only sell the body only but you might be able to find a bundle package
