Need Some Advice
lol.....i don't really have a problem with water.....thats 1st time it's ever happened.....my fiance was taking pics of our dog swimming and running in the water.....she wanted to switch it over to video to record a small video to send to some of her family.....asked me how to do it.....i got out of the water....went to show her.....hands still wet...camera slipped out of my hands....fell right into the water as the water broke onto the beach....
Most of the people here use more expensive slr camera's, not saying that no one here has a point and shoot, just saying that there might not be too many recommendations so try this approach:
Think about your last camera (or any camera you've ever had/used) and make a list of things/features that you need/want/and don't want the new one to have.
Then go searching for anything that meets those requirements and falls in your price range, there will probably be a few. After you have them picked out read up on reviews, look at pictures taken with them, and even go to a store that might have a display model and see if it feels good to hold/has nice button placement/etc.
I know it seems like a lot of work but in the end you wont be kicking yourself for buying a camera that doesn't meet your expectations, trust me
