ya you have to have a helmet, jacket, gloves, and pants of some sort. but not required to have full race leathers.

and well the gloves they are kinda relaxed on that one as you can see in his photo's he isnt wearing any... 
Lakeland is an outlaw track and doesnt have ALL of the same rules as say an NHRA sanctioned track. they are alot more relaxed on certain things. not saying it is a good thing, but alot of people come here because they arent allowed to run anywhere else haha
