Short for Paul Mitchell the School (hair school). The gf goes there and I've put my foot in the door there to help out and do some fun shoots.

If you have a Flickr and we're contacts/friends on there you can view them, if you are not, tell me and you can see the full set. The lights they had were a horrible color, I dont think they had the right ones for what they were wanting to do, so I'm working on fixing that.

I'll post one of each girl - for now

ohh and Larry King was there too

this girl was AWESOME. She went to Ringling (in Sarasota) and shoots with a 5d so she kinda knew what was going on and what she was doing...

Thanks for the comments guys! I will have to agree, some of the girls were kinda eh. But they were good sports, some having NEVER done anything like this before, so it was understandable that they had no idea what to do. The concept of crazy makeup and hair was the purpose.

Kumar: just let me know what works for you and we can arrange something!

LK was there because the school has "theme days" where instead of having to wear their mandatory all black or black and white (for some people), they get to wear whatever the theme day is, and they have to pay like a couple bucks and it goes to a variety of charities, including one of his cardiac awareness funds...

There will be PLENTY more coming from this, be on the lookout

Nice job Michael. They are a bit under exposed. And there are some harsh shadows in a few.

But aside from the lighting, they came out great.

Yeah like was mentioned, the lighting was hectic and is being worked on. The ones that I didnt use my speedlight on, were shot at like 1000+ iso, I dont think I went to 1600, most likely went as high as 1250, so that may have caused them to go a little dark. Actually, I just checked the camera, and I did have it at -1 haha oooops
