outside shots with the D60
The pictures themselves arent bad at all. Did you do any photo editing after you got home? I have a crappy point and shoot. But it came with some photo editing software. You would be suprised what they can look like with messing around with just saturation, contrast, and brightness. Either rate...take lots of pics and just start messing around. I still have no clue what im doing...but it's fun

The photos definitely have potential. Look for cleaner backgrounds next time, you'll thank yourself later. Too many distractions or just sheer ugly back drops will make people look at everything but your object of attention.
Here's a quick 2 minute Photoshop of your first photo I did. I cleaned up the picture, took out the signs and other misc. small things.
Your best investment to yourself is to buy a PS book and read up on how to properly use Photoshop and its functions.
