i have a little aiptek and love it i picked it up for under 100 bucks. mine shoots 720p the new ones are 1080p. on a 1080p 50in dlp the video off the cam looks amazing.

its very small, will fit in the breast pocket of a shirt or pants pocket and it is light.

i've put it on a mount in a car a few times it being so light it stays planted very well (no cam weight to through around on the mount)

uses sd cards for memory i have a 4 gig in mine which holds a few hours of hd video

video format is .mov

if your shooting in hd it has a codec from apple which is fairly processor heavy, yet video edits well in premier. i usually change the format and codec's when i export it

Here are two of the videos I made with it. Keep in mind it is at night but the quality is still awesome. I only shoot in 1080p.

RHD S13.5 vs. 200sx- Video

350z vs. 300c SRT-8- Video

Also. The good thing about this camera is it has wind cut out. So say if you are using a suction cup mount while drifting and its on the outside of the car you wont get all the wind interfering with the sound. I also use Sony Vegas to edit and use divx format

Circuit City. It was when I use to work there so I got a really good deal on it. But I would just do a search on the camera and see what you find. Brand new it was 1299. But that was at the beginning of the year so it has dropped in price since then. The camera is the JVC HD3. I missed typed the model number wrong in previous post
