Sorry, I really didn't mean to downplay your shots at all, I apologize if it seemed that way - I was just trying to address your question. You're way ahead of where I was when I started so I really can't complain too much.

Totally agree with this post. I was going to say that I like to clip some of the shadows in HDR's to keep some realism, but you mentioned that.

Always niceto see someone with data and technical knowledge to backup an opinion, and it's even better when they agree with me.

Hey man no offense taken , I understand exactly what you mean. And this was also just with a PnS Canon. I plan on getting a Nikon D40 and really learning a lot more about photography. But thanks for the compliment!

I guess I think it's important to back up an opinion when the opinion is
in the minority... and I was glad to see I wasn't alone
