ERG they still look inside the box to me.....j/k nice shots all though the last one isnt your best panning i like that its night shots

Thanks Mike!

Actually, the last shot is my favorite because it's very close to what I was trying to achieve, just needed more "streaking" from the lights.

Yes and no.....

Yes - it was a PCA event and they gave me full track access. It's SOOOOOO much nicer over there!!! Remeber turn 5 where you and I were shooting from the viewing mound? Wait until you see how much better the angle is from the other side. They also can't see you over there so, I was walking right up to the wall and shooting through the photo holes.


No - The sun drops quickly after 6pm and three wrecks meant a combined hour of down time. The one that hurt the worst was when it took them 45 minutes to clear a wreck in turn 1 between 7 & 7:45, prime time for glowing rotors with enough light to illuminate the cars.

Yeah Btuner, looking at all three of them together, I guess that one is best.

Unfortunately these images came at a price, the hood (ET-74) for my 70-200mm was jacked by the mosquitoes out there that seemed to be carrying switchblades and machetes - ordering another now.
