Default Need Photographer For Wedding

I'd prefer to post this here to get some more interested people, as opposed to the jobs forum, but here goes.

My brother is looking for a photographer for his wedding on Saturday, October 11th. It's an outdoor wedding, and will probably need a photographer there from around 5:30-9:00. From there, just touch up the photos a bit (a little creativity is welcomed, since you can always keep the originals) and sort out the keepers, and we'll just take them on a disc, no need for printing/framing.

We're not trying to go for the typical cheesy photographers that just scrunch everyone together and tell them to fake a smile while they take group and couple still shots. There will be a couple of those for tradition, but the wedding will be an entirely casual setting, and we just wanted someone to get some action shots, candid shots, walking around taking pictures, some overview/panoramics, maybe stop a couple groups to have them smile and wave for a shot, etc.

Yes, it'll pay. I'd prefer to reward a great amateur than just pay a professional, but anyone is welcomed. We mainly just want someone that we can count on to be there and do the job well. If anyone's interested, shoot me a PM and we'll talk.

Thanks in advance!

I see this turning into a TR photographer meet!

We can all do a huge compilation of shots split the money and call it a gig!

I'm a TR newbie and not cheap, but we've done a few weddings and seems to be pretty decent.

That's an understatement. Your website's full of amazing pictures - price seems more than fair to me.

Thanks

We're actually in the process of building a new site because everything on there is last season.
I might make a thread actually...

Yeah, couldn't get it to work. If you think you could give me an estimate of "not cheap," shoot me a PM. Thanks for your reply!
