The whole megapixel race thread got me thinking and i decided to revisit some of the pics i took on a trip back in 2004 with my 3mp kodak easyshare camera. I think these just go to show that mpxls arn't everything. These are all 50-75% crops, because they all had a cheezy date stamp in the bottom corner. This was back before p&s cameras had ISO or IS and the pics i took back then turn out mostly better then pics i see coming out of modern day p&s cameras. I think the other thread is right about more mpxls equaling more noise, because these pictures are virtually noise free
what do you guys think? anyone have old pics from sub 4mpxl cameras that look pretty damn decent? I wish you could buy a p&s nowadays that didnt even have ISO!

Oh man.. I have some sick shots from my easyshare from about 4 years ago. I'll have to find some since they aren't on this computer.

i have a lot of favorites that i took w/my nikon p&s...
well, these arent the best but these are some i have on this computer. i'll have to turn on my big computer one day and get the cool pics off of it!

I didn't even have a digi cam for my trip to Peru in '05, so I borrowed my mother-in-law's 3mp Kodak...
I just found the CD with all the full res files a couple weeks ago, so I think I'll go back and reprocess these when I get a chance.
